The Congress Center
The Congress Center of the Florence Research Area has halls and meeting rooms available to host conferences, presentations and meetings. The Congress Center can be used by both researchers of Institutes of the Area as well as external entities through a booking procedure. The Research Area provides the following facilities:
Conference Hall "Toraldo di Francia"
The hall has a capacity of 145 persons and is equipped with the following devices:
- VGA projector
- Overhead projector
- PC
- HDD Videorecorder
- DVD Player
- Portable microphone
- Dome camera for conferenze recording
- Wired Internet connection
- Wireless Internet connection
Conference Hall 1
With a capacity of 40 persons the hall is equipped with the following devices:
- VGA projector
- Overhead projector (can be used with white paper)
- PC
- Wired Internet connection
- Wireless Internet connection
- H.323 videoconferencing system
Conference Hall 2
The hall has a capacity of 52 persons and is equipped with the following devices::
- VGA projector
- Overhead projector (can be used with white paper)
- PC
- Portable microphone
- Wired Internet connection
- Wireless Internet connection
Meeting Room 1
The meeting room has a capacity of 10 persons and is equipped with the following devices:

The meeting room has a capacity of 10 persons and is equipped with the following devices:

The meeting room has a capacity of 18 persons and is equipped with the following devices:

Internet Access
Internet wireless access is available throughout the Congress Center. The eduroam® network 
can be accessed by members of participating organizations using credentials assigned by their respective organization.
Alternatively temporary credentials can be assigned for the duration of the event.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria can be used for events for up to 30 people.
Bar
The Bar opening time is Monday through Friday 08:00 - 15:00.
